About Me

Heddy Abramowitz is an exhibiting artist living and working in Jerusalem, her home since 1979. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Holocaust survivors, and raised in suburban Washington, D.C., she flipped from art student to eventually shelving a career as an Israeli lawyer in favor of her first love, painting. She exhibits her painting and her photography in Israel and beyond. She and her husband lived in the Jewish Quarter in the Old City where they raised their five children.
