24 year old with a French passport and a varied Sephardic background, Raphael aspires to become the globalized Jew he dreams of being. He left everything behind at the age of 17, first to go to college in North Carolina, then to continue his world discovery. He resided in three US states, Belgium, and Peru, while meeting diverse and edifying Jewish communities along the way. He figured that the culminating step was in the Jewish state, where he is volunteering as a Lone Soldier in the Paratroopers Brigade.
