Making America conned again – in 2020?

Let us first determine who is America. America is not its billionaires. It’s also not the Middle Class, falsely assuming that they are the fortunate ones. America is Us, the People.

After being robbed and fooled for generations by professional politicians, they’re now conned and impoverished by a non-politician, a professional businessman.

The difference is: when they were milked by Wall Street and Capitol Hill, they felt cheated. But now it’s old wine in new bottles, and they feel protected and honored. Sad!

Where to go from here? That depends.

Donald Trump. He’s a liability, a loose cannon for conservatives. Better stop him before it’s too late. As an independent, he’ll never make it.

Mike Pence. He’s a real politician. He will be hated like all the others.

Hillary Clinton. She has nice ideas but she’s much too arrogant and corrupt.

Bernie Saunders. He has nice ideas for the US but is an anti-Zionist (yes, it’s a euphemism) and aloof as any self-respecting nouveau rich.

Nikki Haley. She’s not arrogant. She’s not anti-Zionist. She would make an excellent US president. And after being elected as the Republican candidate for 2020, she probably may say the same as the present Pope said at his election by the conservative Bishops: I pray that God will forgive you for your choice.

She will be the fresh wind that all of the US and frankly all of the Free World and oppressed people have been waiting for. She will be the bridge builder. She will unite people who were lied to and set up against each other. She will re-introduce truth and reasonableness into politics. And she will be nice to the nice and wicked to the wicked.

There is ground for optimism.
